IGM [Irreverence Group Music] is an independent record label and music production company based in Brooklyn, NY, dedicated to fostering interdisciplinary and intersectional discourses through music, community, and artistic collaboration.
The discography+lab exercises of the IGM family span a wide range of musical genres, from the classical canon to alternative, electronic, and even noise. While contemporary classical music (and its many offshoots) is our hallmark, we also diversify based on each artist's unique exploration.
Founded by Colombian composer Julián De La Chica, IGM champions creativity, irreverence, and artistic research. Our mission is to cultivate fresh dialogue, encourage individual exploration, and craft innovative soundscapes, supporting artists on their path of self-expression and sonic experimentation.
