Manuel LOAIZA
Manuel Loaiza Morales is a Costa Rican violist from Capellades, Cartago. He is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Music with an emphasis in viola at the University of Costa Rica. In 2023, he was awarded the University Soloist Competition and participated in the University Honor Recital.

He has served as Principal Viola of the University of Costa Rica Symphony Orchestra and the Heredia Symphony Orchestra, and has performed with the Orquesta Universal and as a guest with the State Symphony Orchestra of Chiapas, Mexico. His work spans symphonic and chamber music contexts.
Loaiza has participated in the International Music Festival of Guadalajara, the Morelia Music Festival (Sinfonietta), and the International String Festival at the University of Costa Rica, among others. His practice integrates performance, music education, and cultural management, with an ongoing commitment to community engagement.
