Hannah Kramer
American Mezzo Soprano Hannah Kramer has been recognized for her “velvety mezzo soprano” and “captivating presence.” Ms. Kramer began her professional pursuits in the dramatic arts, having attended the London Academy of Musical and Dramatic Arts and graduating Illinois Wesleyan University with a BFA in Acting. Her entry into opera came with critically acclaimed performances in the title role of "The Medium" with IWU Opera Theatre.
Recent assignments include "Mercedes" (cover) in Carmen with Denyce Graves for Opera Charleston, "Fenena" in Nabucco with Opera Theatre of Montclair, "Lola" and "Santuzza" (cover) in Cavalleria Rusticana with New Rochelle Opera, "Amneris" in Aida, "Maddalena" in Rigoletto, "Suzuki" in Madama Butterfly, and "Third Lady" in The Magic Flute with Regina Opera. Ms. Kramer’s oratorio and concert repertoire encompasses Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, Brahms’ Alto Rhapsody, Handel’s Messiah and Mozart’s Requiem.
