Leonardo Gell and Jonathan Cáceres will premiere De La Chica's Duet No. 1
As part of their Pianolatinoamericano tour, Cuban pianist Leonardo Gell and Panamanian pianist Jonathan Cáceres will premiere Julián De La Chica's Duet for Piano No. 1. The world premiere will take place on January 11th at Paliesiaus Dvaras in Mielagėnai, Lithuania, followed by the Spanish premiere on January 15th at the iconic Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando in Madrid.
Composed by De La Chica in 2014 during one of his trips to Costa Rica, the duet was originally written for a private recital performed by De La Chica and Leonardo Gell.
