Released by Irreverence Group Music, FADO brings No. 4 from De La Chica’s piano cycle Nocturnal & Circular Images, Op. 5 into the harp repertoire through Meijer’s delicate and quietly hypnotic interpretation.
The collaboration brings together two artists whose work has long explored repetition, resonance, and the space between sound and silence. Meijer’s interpretation transforms the work’s original pianistic language through the distinctive resonance and intimacy of the harp.
Listen to FADO on Spotify and discover the extraordinary music surrounding it on New Classical.
